Last Friday evening, August 9th, a private dining room at The Somerset’s O’Soleil Restaurant was transformed into a card room to host resort guests for an evening of Texas Hold ‘Em. From 8:30 p.m. until 11 p.m., steely stares and bold raises accompanied the sound of flying poker chips as players competed for prizes provided by The Somerset Resort Boutique.

Pots large and small were won and lost. The ultimate winner was Miami resident, Jose Eduarte, vacationing with his family at our Turks and Caicos resort. Dealing the cards was The Somerset’s own Executive Housekeeper, Alanzo Barnett, assisted by “Tournament Director,” Short Stack Urmas Karner, also known as The Somerset on Grace Bay’s General Manager. A great time was had by all.
