Snorkeling + Scuba = SNUBA

Man diving in the sea near The Somerset on Grace Bay

Take your undersea adventures to the next level with SNUBA —  a cross between snorkeling and scuba. Like with scuba, the swimmer will use fins, a diving mask and weights. To breathe, you will use regulator while an air supply floats on a comforting support raft at the surface.

This unique water sport is essentially an introduction to diving and will allow you to explore a three-dimensional world like never before!

No Experience Needed

Even if you have never snorkeled or have only the most basic swimming skills, you can participate in SNUBA! In addition, this activity is customizable based on your individual comfort level. You can swim at any depth – surface, 2 feet, 10 feet or even 20 feet! Anyone 8 years old and older is eligible to enjoy this excursion.

Join the Fun

We hope you will try out SNUBA on your next visit to Providenciales to experience the natural underwater beauty! We recommend planning the trip with Snuba Turks & Caicos, and our concierge team will also be happy to make the arrangements for you.

From the beach, the cost is $100 per person to snorkel Bight Reef (Coral Gardens), on the western side of Grace Bay. Or you can take a boat to explore the world’s third largest barrier reef for $250 per person. Excursions are typically available at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm daily, but will vary by season and weather conditions.
