International Coastal Cleanup Day
On Saturday, September 21st, the Turks and Caicos Islands Government Ministry of Environment and Home Affairs spearheaded local participation in “International Coastal Cleanup Day.”
Among those taking part in this public – private partnership effort were several Grace Bay resort properties.

Wielding rakes and garbage bags are intrepid members of The Somerset maintenance team, flanked by Resort Executive Housekeeper Alanzo Barnett (far left) and Resort Managing Director Urmas Karner (far right).
Cleanup duties were followed by lunch for the volunteers at The Somerset’s LunaSea Pool Bar & Grille.
