Strong Leadership

He is a strong role model, always available for a conversation and all levels of staff feel comfortable to speak freely to him. This provides Urmas with true insight into the entire operation from the ground up.

Urmas plays volleyball on the resort’s volleyball team and inspires a true staff competitive team spirit, practicing with employees prior to the island-wide sporting competition. This translates into a special kind of “brand awareness” within the community of Turks & Caicos Islands and builds interest in joining the Somerset hospitality team.

A True Customer Champion

For Halloween, he dresses in costume to greet the guests and their kids. For Valentine’s Day, he presents roses to both Guests and staff. He has even been Santa Claus every Christmas. He does not let an occasion pass without touching the lives of his guests.

For Urmas, it is not a job to be customer-centric. It is his lifestyle. He lives, breathes and enjoys seeing customers happy.
