Providenciales, commonly known as “Provo,” is the most developed island in Turks and Caicos. The 38-square-mile Caribbean island, has earned international acclaim for its uncrowded beaches, inviting seas and legendary water sports. 

A British Crown Colony, Turks and Caicos Islands is a Caribbean paradise comprised of 40 islands and cays located just 575 miles (927 km) southeast of Miami and 55 miles (88 km) southeast of the Bahamas. 

The Somerset sits directly on the pristine Grace Bay Beach, voted World’s Best Beach, and is on the northern side of Provo in close proximity to numerous popular attractions.

Getting Here

With many direct flights available, both year-round and seasonally, getting to Turks and Caicos Islands from the US, Canada and UK is easy. 

To reach our Turks and Caicos luxury resort, fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS). The Somerset on Grace Bay is only 9 miles, approximately 15 minutes, from the airport. 

Ground Transportation

Ground transportation may be arranged via taxi or rental car. If you are interested in renting a car, it is encouraged to reserve in advance of your stay. A valid driver’s license from your place of residence is required.
