The Somerset SafeStay Promise
The Somerset is renowned for providing a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees. We have significantly enhanced our standards to provide you the peace of mind you deserve as you enjoy your luxury getaway. In preparation for welcoming you back, The Somerset SafeStay (Triple S) Protocols have been activated to provide you comfort and ease during your time with us.
The Somerset on Grace Bay has worked vigorously to align with local Ministry of Health, Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), and World Health Organization (WHO) standards to ensure the protection and safety of our employees and our guests.
All points of guest and employee contact have been scrutinized to develop secure guidelines used throughout our property and delivery of service. All employees will wear masks and gloves while on duty, which will be discarded and changed after each guest or family interaction, and will practice and encourage physical distancing rules. Employees will all have sanitizer on hand for guests’ use.
For the safety of guests and employees, guests’ temperatures will be checked on arrival at our Front Desk. Temperatures in excess of 99.5F will be considered out of range.
The Somerset on Grace Bay is celebrated for its immaculate and spacious living spaces. Through our Triple S standards, our Housekeeping team will follow strict protocols to keep you and your family safe. Staff will be dressed in personal protective equipment (PPE) while preparing your room for your arrival, with gloves and masks removed and discarded after the cleaning of each room or space. Your accommodation will be treated with an electrostatic sprayer after cleaning, and our Executive Housekeeping staff will thoroughly inspect the space with an LED black light.
Sanitizing stations can be found throughout the property in all breezeway and public areas. Signage serving as a reminder for physical distancing practices is visible throughout the property. Seating has been minimized to adhere to the proper distancing requirements. Cleaning and sanitizing of public area restrooms will be more frequent, and elevators will be sanitized every two hours.
We invite you to familiarize yourself with the protocols set by our local Ministry of Health which can be found here: www.govt.tc/moh/coronavirus/guidance.
