Weather - Turks and Caicos
What are
beach and water like for Turks and Caicos Watersports?
The water temperature averages 77 degrees, it is turquoise, protected by our barrier reef - the same barrier reef that makes for such fine scuba diving, the waves are tiny and they really do "lap" - again thanks to the barrier reef on which the waves break. The tide is minimal.
The Air for Turks and Caicos Activities?
The air temperature in the winter months average 82 degrees; summer 86. Trade winds blowing off the water are constant, keeping the temperature from being too warm, even in September our warmest month at 88.
The Sun for Turks and Caicos Family Activities?
The sun, glows in our sky of light blue and it shines 350 days. At sunset it dips slowly into the horizon turning the water to different shades of blue with an orange glaze just before it’s swallowed up by our Caribbean sea. Stars fill the sky - brilliantly glimmering.....
The Rain
for Turks and Caicos Beach Front Activities?
What rain? Only 30" a year. Just enough to cool our guests off after a day in the sun.
The Beach Sand for Turks and Caicos Beachfront Activities?
Our sand of coral is white powdery in texture. Great for building sandcastles, walking or jogging for miles, sitting at the waters edge nestling your feet deep into the sand - reading a book....
Now for the watersports - Turks and Caicos.....
